Racing birthday card for Dean

Hello everyone

I am sharing with you today the birthday card I recently made for my little brother Dean who turned 23.

This was my first card I made with a digi stamp (from digi stamp boutique) and loved it.  I chose this image because Dean had put on a bet a few months ago and won.  What better image to use?!  I made the rosette from card (No.1 brother) and added ribbon to finish it off.  The image is coloured with promarkers and highlighted with a white gel pen (although I do feel I have gone over the top a bit with the highlighting...)  I wanted the card to stand out from the rest so made it into an easel card (needless to say he couldn't set it up when he opened it and I had to show him).  I added a border at the bottom for the folded part to stand against and added 'Happy Birthday Dean' and finished off with some blue dots and more ribbon.  I really like how this turned out and I think Dean was impressed too because he asked 'what website did you print that from?'  I said I coloured it myself - impressed!

I am entering this into the August 12 digstamp boutique challenge http://digistampboutique.blogspot.co.uk/p/august-12-customer-competition.html

A special RSVP

Morning all!

I thought I would quickly share with you a special RSVP that I recently made for a very special couple that are getting married next month - my cousin Colin and his beautiful fiance Serena.  Serena has been wedding planning galore so I thought I would make them something to keep and look back on (well I hope anyway) haha.  Just wait until you see my finished wedding card for them, I've got so much ideas that I can't choose.  Anyway I hope you like it.  Time is going so quick and I can't wait to get back up home for the wedding of the year!

Thank you for stopping to have a look.

Clarity scarescrow

Goooood moooooorning and happy Monday to you all.

I hope this week flys by because I can't wait until the weekend, although I've got a bit of crafting to do before then.

Today I'm showing you my card I made using my Clarity products.  I love the scarecrow image gently blowing in the breeze.  I kept along the same colour schemes (oranges and browns), I started with putting masking tape around the edges to the picture sat in the centre then I brayered the field in along with the sky and stamped the scarecrow and grass bushes in place.  I finished off the card with gold outline pen, matting and layering a small piece of raffia in the corner.

Thank you for taking the time to have a look.

Commissioned ruby anniversary card

Good afternoon everyone,

How is your Sunday going?  I am having an incredibly lazy crafty Sunday (with help from Kerbey).  Today I thought I would share with you a recent Ruby Wedding Anniversary card that I got asked to make from a colleauge I used to work with.  She had seen another tea-light card that I made and had on my blog and requested one similar for this.  I instantly thought simplicity with a hint of red.  I'm very pleased as to how this turned out including the box envelope I made to go with it.

Thanks for stopping to have a look :)
