2 commissioned birthday cards

Morning folks!

As promised here are the two cards I made for a colleague who I used to work with.  They were for her daughter Maya's 1st birthday, one from her and her husband, and one from her son titled to his sis.  They were 2 large A4 cards.  I did one easel card with a hello kitty theme and had a photo to put on it too.  The second one was personalised with a photo of Maya and her brother.  I loved doing these cards - pink, pink, pink and girly :)

I hope you like them.  Thank you for stopping by to have a look.

Sorry it's been a few weeks but this is why....

Good evening everyone,

I'm so sorry I haven't blogged for a few weeks but I have had very good reasons why..... I got a kitten!  All my time has been with my wee darling - Kerbey!  She is absolutely adorable and I love her to bits!  Ians boss got me the kitten and said on one condition, I HAVE to call him or her Kerbey after their company 'Kerbey Motors' and I actually love the name - she suits it very much!  (Infact she's lying on the couch looking over my shoulder here as I'm typing).  Here is a pic of her...  she's so tiny!

And here I was attempting to craft - which was out of the question, she was trying to help too much :)

Anyway, with Kerbey and starting my new job I've kind of been busy (lot to get my head round in my new job!) but I'm back crafting now and I'll be back tomorrow with the cards I had done a couple of weeks ago for a friend of mine.

Let's hang out

Good evening everyone, hope you're all enjoying the long bank holiday weekend, I certainly am, had a fab day.

Tonight I'm sharing my creation I made today (had quite a craft-a-thon) and specifically wanted to use my monkey 'penny black' image.

I loved creating this card and had great fun colouring in the monkey.  I made the letters from my embosslits with my sizzix machine and created the flowers with my die cuts from my sizzix machine too and used the quilling tool to roll them up.  I added glossy accents to his eyes to emphasise them more too.

I am entering this card into the weekly Penny Black Saturday challenge.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend whatever you're doing.

Commissioned Wedding Card

Evening all,

Tonight I'm showing you the wedding card I recently made for someone at work who is getting married this Saturday 9th June.

I made this as an easel card.  I water coloured the forever friends bears (which I love) and added glitter to the vail.  I added their names on the love hearts either side of the main panel and added a couple of white flowers and a bow for the easel card to stand like it should.  The papers I used were old 'Hot of the Press' papers, which I have a stack of and finished with some pearl bling and a couple of punched butterflies matching the papers.

Thank you for stopping by. x
