Good morning everyone,
Today I'm sharing with you a card I recently made for my brother's girlfriend Karoline's 21st birthday.
I used the free stamps in one of the recent issues of Creativity. I used the flowers to stamps onto the card to give it a border, then used some old 'Hot of the Press' papers for the background. I stamped the main girl image onto white card and also onto the same paper I used for the background and paper pieced her dress. I thought it looked really effective with the dress matching the background paper. I coloured her in with promarkers (I gave her brown hair too as Karoline's hair is brown). To finish I added peel off border stickers and layered up flowers under the image and ontop to give it depth, added a Tulip range sentiment and some bling dots. You can't really tell from the photo but glossy accents were also added to the cocktail glass to make it stand out more.
Thank you for stopping to have a look.
I would love to know what you think.

First decopatch heart
Good evening all,
How are you all today? Can't believe it's that time, almost time for Monday morning :(
I thought I would share with you today my first decopatch item I have recently created, I bought this heart in a local craft shop Carole's Crafts after a demo that was held there. Well it's simple - I'm now hooked! Thank you Gill! I also got the decopatch papers in Gill's shop as well. When I finished it I varnished the heart and added some bling and ribbon on top to make it hang nicely. The gems are the same on both sides of the heart.
I'm really pleased how this turned out. Decopatch is surprisingly therapeutic - the next item I will show you is my decopatched letter 'L'...
Thank you for stopping to have a look, enjoy the rest of your evening.
xx
